“The evidence that fluoride is more harmful than beneficial is now overwhelming… fluoride may be destroying our bones, our teeth, and our overall health.”
And that’s why I and millions around the U.S.A. have invested in water filtration devices…
Among those, ZeroWater has earned a strong reputation for its commitment to delivering purified water through advanced filtration technology.
In fact, when it comes to household names one could argue that it’s among the top 3, ranking up there with Brita and Pur.
In this review, we’ll provide an honest revie highlighting what makes the ZeroWater 10 Cup Ready-Pour stand out and areas where it may fall short, helping you decide if this is the right choice for your water filtration needs.

What We Love: The Pros
1. Filtration Effectiveness
Zero Water’s five-stage filtration system delivers truly amazing results—consistently filtering water down to 0 parts per million (ppm) of total dissolved solids.

That GUARENTEES that zero contaminants are left behind, including heavy metals, fluoride, chlorine, and other impurities commonly found in tap water.
Compared to many other filtration devices, none came close to the consistent results delivered.
Why is this important?
Water that’s not only cleaner and safer to drink but also noticeably crisper and better-tasting, with no lingering aftertaste from impurities.
2. Capacity and Design
One of the standout features of the ZeroWater pitcher is its 10-cup capacity, which strikes the perfect balance for daily use.

Whether you’re filling glasses for a family dinner or staying hydrated throughout the day, this size ensures you won’t constantly need to refill.
The Institute of Medicine guidelines recommend these suggestions regarding how much water to drink each day.
- For women: About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of total fluids.
- For men: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of total fluids.
Take for example, If two people live in a home (one man and one woman), you would need to refill your 10-cup Zero Water pitcher about 2.7 (roughly 3 times) per day
Overall The design is equally impressive—its easy-pour spout makes dispensing water hassle-free, while the ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip, even when the pitcher is full.
Combined with its sleek and compact form, the ZeroWater pitcher fits seamlessly into your fridge or on your countertop.
3. Water Quality Meter
One of the greatest features of the ZeroWater pitcher is the built-in TDS meter, conveniently attached to the top of the pitcher.

Attaching right to the top lid, you can test your water quality at any time—something most other filters just don’t offer.
This meter not only shows how effective the filter is at removing impurities but also helps me keep track of when the filter is starting to wear out, making it simple to know when it’s time for a replacement. It’s a level of control and convenience.
4. Filter/Pour at the Same Time
One of the biggest challenges with most filtration pitchers is their inability to filter tap water while simultaneously pouring already-filtered water.
The ZeroWater pitcher solves this with a convenient spout at the bottom, allowing you to pour filtered water even while the unfiltered water in the reservoir is still being processed.

This feature is arguably my favorite as one of the biggest annoyances of other pitchers come from having to wait for the filtration process to finish before pouring/drinking.
There’s nothing more frustrating than rushing to the gym or jiu-jitsu training, grabbing my water bottle, and realizing I can’t fill it because the pitcher is still filtering.
What We Don’t Love: The Cons
1. Top Cover

One downside to the ZeroWater pitcher is that the top cover needs to be completely removed every time you want to refill it. Unlike the Brita pitcher, which features an open/close lid for easy filling, the ZeroWater design requires you to take off the entire top.
While it’s not a major inconvenience, it can be a bit cumbersome, especially when you’re in a hurry or filling it frequently.
2. The Sometimes Slow Pour Spout
The spout on the ZeroWater pitcher is both a pro and a con.
On one hand its design allows you to pour water even while the filtration process is still ongoing—a feature that’s incredibly convenient.
However, the downside is that the spout pours on the slower side. You can take a look in the video below to see how long it takes just to fill one cup of water.
What I’ve noticed is the water pours quite slower when the reservoir isn’t filled much, which makes sense because there’s less pressure pushing the water through.
To speed things up, it helps to keep the reservoir more filled, but if you’re in a rush, the slower flow can be a bit frustrating.
How ZeroWater Compares to Brita
Perhaps the most interesting debate in the world of water filtration is how ZeroWater stacks up against Brita, a long-time favorite.

When it comes to filtration quality, ZeroWater completely outclasses Brita—it’s not even a competition.
Brita, while popular, doesn’t filter nearly as effectively, leaving behind a significant amount of total dissolved solids (TDS). From multiple tests, I found between 60-75ppm when it came to Brita filtered water.
You can see the results below:

Compared to ZeroWater’s five-stage filtration system, on the other hand, each test delivered the same results, bringing water down to 0 parts per million of TDS, which is the gold standard for pure water.
Filtration quality isn’t just one of many features; it’s the most important feature—period.
In the end, what really matters is how clean and safe your water is, and ZeroWater excels in this department.
The inclusion of a TDS meter is another big advantage, giving you a precise, measurable way to ensure your water is as pure as it can be, something Brita simply can’t match.
For those serious about water quality, ZeroWater is the clear winner.
Final Thoughts
The ZeroWater 10-Cup Ready-Pour Pitcher stands out as a strong contender in the world of water filtration.
- Its advanced 5-stage filtration system ensures exceptional water purity, consistently reducing total dissolved solids (TDS) to zero, offering a level of filtration unmatched by most competitors, including Brita.
- Features like the built-in TDS meter and the ability to filter and pour simultaneously provide added convenience and control, while its sleek design and 10-cup capacity make it ideal for everyday use.

However, the pitcher does with some minor drawbacks. The top cover design is a little cumbersome to remove for every refill, and the slow pour speed of the spout may frustrate those in a hurry.
These issues, while minor, could be considerations for some users.
Ultimately, the ZeroWater 10-Cup Ready-Pour Pitcher is best suited for those who prioritize water quality above all else and appreciate having measurable assurance of their water’s purity.
If you’re looking for a filtration system that provides the cleanest, crispest water for your home, the ZeroWater pitcher is an excellent choice.
